The Costa-Conte issue had been on for a long time now in Chelsea. It’s no more news that Antonio Conte sent a text to Costa telling him that he is no more part of his plan for this season. As a result the striker was left out of the team that went for preseason tour. And the striker has missed all Chelsea matches since the beginning of this season.
Now that the transfer window is closed and no Athletico move for Costa, Chelsea has sent the striker a text again calling him back to the squad. But a similar text has been earlier sent to Costa in which he was instructed to go and train with the developers team and not the senior team.
The Sun online reported earlier in the week that Diego Costa has shown in London. But it seems another feud can start as the striker did not meet his Range Rover where he parked it before leaving for Brazil. Before leaving for his home country, the striker parked his Range Rover at the Cobham training ground where the senior players do park their cars. But on return, Diego Costa met his car moved to the parking space designed for the developers.
This new development intensify Chelsea’s desire to make the striker pay by training with the developers but definitely to Costa’s dismay. Definitely, it seems Chelsea had added some salt to the injury already on ground between the two sides.
The next step to be taken by Costa now is yet to be known.
