EPL Match Week 4: Matches, Previews And Time

After the long international break, to the delight of EPL fans all over the world the premier league is back again. The most competitive league in the world will be starting the match week 4 on Saturday with a superb opener between Manchester City and Liverpool. Match week 4 promises to be superb as it will feature star-lit matches. Below is the preview of some of the matches.

Manchester City vs Liverpool         12:30 pm

This match no doubt will be the match of the week, as it featured teams that had been in rivalry for a long period of time. Liverpool sits second on the table while Manchester City is fourth though both sharing the same points which is 7. Liverpool will be approaching this game on a high following a massive 4-0 win against Arsenal. Manchester City on the other hand managed a 2-1 win against Bournemouth last time out. Both sides are blessed with terrific attackers who are always ready to wreck havoc. I’m seeing a match full of goals from both sides, with a little concern though for Manchester City’s defense as they have not been convincing enough so far. To make matter worse for manchester City, if not still fit, Kompany might not feature in the match. Sterling will also miss the match due to match suspension. A boost for Manchester City is the return of Kyle Walker following suspension. Liverpool on the other hand are expected to start their deadly trio of Mane, Salah and Firminho, with Chamberlain making his debut for Liverpool if featured. Coutinho is expected to be back for the Reds after the transfer saga.

The first person to make a correct prediction for this game in the comment box will be rewarded by the admin of this forum. Deadline for submission is 12 a.m on Saturday.

Leceister City Vs Chelsea            3:00 pm

The battle is set at the King Power stadium, a home for Leceister City. Chelsea will be approaching this game confidently following a win against Spurs and Everton. Leceister on the other hand had terrific early season fixtures after bowing to Arsenal and Manchester United. Now Chelsea is on the row in their match week 4 fixture. As to team news, Leceister will want Marhez to recover promptly after the transfer window disturbance and Maguire may likely make his debut for Leceister against Chelsea. Chelsea on the other hand will be happy to welcome Hazard back to the team following injury spells. Hazard played during the international break for Belgium securing a goal and an assist in their 9-0 win over Gibraltar.  Deadline day signing Drinkwater may also feature and make his debut against his former side in his former home, if starred Zapacosta will make his debut for the Blues against Leceister . Conte may have some changes from his winning eleven against Everton following the fact that he will play Quarabag in the Champions league on Tuesday. History is in favour of Chelsea as they have defeated Leceister over 50 times while leciester managed just 24 wins against Chelsea.

Stoke vs Manchester United           5:30 pm

Manchester United will want to continue their 100% record from the start of the season with a win over a “stubborn” Stoke who have defeated Arsenal earlier in the season. Man.Utd drew Stoke home and away last season, therefore Mourinho will want to register a win this time around. Since Stoke’s promotion to the Premier league in 2008, Manchester have won them in 12 matches of the overall 18 they have played together. Lukaku will want to continue his free scoring form against Stoke.

Surely this weekend fixture will always be as interesting as it has always been. Meet you at the other side of the matches. And don’t forget to give your predictions for the  Manchester City vs Liverpool game before 12.a.m on Saturday.
