Another segment of EPL matches, previews and times is here again. Another mega weekend set to be on he way. Still, Crystal Palace remain the only team so far this season not to have scored a goal. I’m sure they will have this in mind as they take on Manchester United this weekend after falling heavily in the hands of Manchester City last time out. The match of the week this weekend will be coming up on Saturday and that will be when Chelsea host Manchester city at the bridge. Let’s take some previews of this weekend matches.
MANCHESTER UNITED VS CRYSTAL PALACE (3:00P.M)
As Crystal Place sit comfortably in the relegation zone, hope seems to look smaller as they are to make the journey to second placed Manchester United at Trafford. As said earlier, Crystal Place is yet to secure a point and a goal so far this season, breaking the record of the worst start to the EPL since 1888.
To make things fall further apart for the Eagles, their main striker Benteke is reported injured during the week and has been ruled out for 6 weeks. With the absence of Benteke, Sako may have to come in as the interim striker.
On the other end of the pitch, Manchester United will approach this game with a bouncing 4-1 champions league victory against CSKA Moscow in Russia. They are still without their ace midfielder Paul Pogba due to injury and Carrick might also be unavailable due to a knock in the knee.
From history, Crystal Palace have never defeated Manchester United. This alone has given the Red Devils upper hand in this fixture. A goal for Crystal Palace on Saturday will cancel their goal drought and will be forever remembered by their fans.
CHELSEA VS MANCHESTER CITY (5:30P.M)
The match between the champions and the title favourite. Both teams will approach this game on a high having won their midweek champions league matches. The last time out in the premier league, Manchester bullied Crystal Palace and Chelsea had to subdue stubborn Stoke with 4 goals to nothing.
Both teams appears to be scoring freely at the moment with Conte’s extremely brilliant tactics against Athletico Madrid still to come in play. Tactfully and unexpectedly Kante had to play in front of Fabregas against Athletico Madrid, resulting in Kante stopping the Athletico attack right from their half. A tactics that rendered Carasco and Griezmann toothless.
Manchester city on the other hand will dwell greatly on their assist master David Silver’s skills as he has been key to their free scoring form. The citizens are presently sitting in the first position sharing the same points with Manchester United, while Chelsea is presently third on the table with a three point difference.
For the blues, David Luis will still be unavailable being the last match of his suspension, therefore Christensen is hoped to start in place of him. Though Morata was seen limping after the match against Athletico, but no report has been made concerning that and hopefully he will be available on Saturday. Manchester city will be without Mendy due to a knee injury. Again Guardiola will be faced with the option on who to start between Aguero and Gabriel Jesus or starting both at the same time.
Last season Chelsea won this same fixture home and away as they cruise to being EPL champions.
The game will be a test for both sides but a special test for the blues defense against a voracious City attack. For this match again, the first correct prediction will be given a week reward on this platform. All predictions to come in before 12 a.m on Saturday.
